After experiencing migraines and jaw pain for over 40 years, I finally have relief. Dr Russell's knowledge, attention to detail and listening skills are difficult to find these days. I could tell right away he was compassionate about his work and helping his patients. His staff are friendly, professional and they all seem to work well together. Wonderful provider! Highly recommend! My wife has suffered from TMJ issues for years progressing to where it was becoming really hard to even eat. It's taken time, but her pain level is so much better, sleep apnea is vastly improved, she's able to eat and chew normally, and much of her head pain is gone. Dr. Russell & his staff have been wonderful! Attentive, caring, listened and customized her treatment plan so that it works for her, even working around a neck injury she had from a fall.

Dr. Russell and his team are excellent in every way. When I first went in, my jaw had stopped functioning, eating solid food was impossible and the intense jaw pain near constant. A thorough assessment led to a detailed treatment plan that has been very effective in returning full function to my jaw, relieved my pain (without medications), and provided a number of other improvements in my life and well being that I had not anticipated. Although I did not have sleep apnea, the TMJ treatments has also improved my sleep. I had no idea how limited my sleep pattern actually was. Nor was I aware on the nasal congestion from allergies that I had grown accustomed to over the years. My breathing has also significantly improved as a result of the interventions prescribed. From these “side benefits”, my energy level and general sense of comfort and well being has also dramatically improved. I went in for relief of jaw pain, and have gotten so much more. Dr. Russell’s holistic approach to healthcare is just outstanding. Having worked in and near health care practices and professionals for many decades, it is really unusual to encounter a treatment team and office committed to addressing the whole person and their needs, rather than a single symptom. I’ve worked directly with many physicians over a 40+ year career. Dr. Russell is as thorough and conscientious a physician as I have ever met. A caring and effective communicator, he educated me at every step. I felt listened to and fully understood the treatment plan and approach. I cannot emphasize enough how much my health has improved. I went there initially from a referral from a physician friend, hoping regain at least some functioning in a worn out, arthritic jaw and to get some pain relief. I got so much more. Dr. Russell, Judy, Abby, Jennifer, and other team members whose names I’m not recalling are all kind, caring, effective professionals who will take care of you. I was referred here by a Dr. who told me Dr. Russel is not only best in his field but he truly likes what he does and it shows. In a nut shell I found Dr. Russel and staff to be intelligent, knowledgeable people. My 4 month massive headache from tmj was minimal as I left my first visit and gone in less than a week and never returned. Cool people.

My treatment was very successful! Prior to seeing Dr. Russell and the team, I had suffered from TMJ since my teens, over 45 years. It had reached a point where my jaw would lock closed while eating, with a very painful moment, virtually every meal. While initially skeptical about the process, within six months the pain has gone and not resurfaced. The permanent night time appliance is indispensable. Dr.Russell is convinced in his approach, and his team is efficient, friendly and professional. If you suffer from daily acute pain, and have the funds for this treatment, it might be the best money you ever spent.
